FOUR REASONS American men seek romance abroad: Prague, Ha Long Bay, Red Square, small villages in Latin America. Somehow meeting a Czech, Vietnamese, Russian or Peruvian/Colombian/Brazilian woman for a date at one of these exotic places is incomparably more exciting than meeting a hometown girl at the local coffeeshop. Opponents of a man's right to meet foreign women online never stop to consider how enjoyable it is to travel/work/live abroad and learn new cultures and languages while seeking a marriage partner.

Salutations to the good people of this board, especially Frank Johnson and Tristan Smiley

I came across the archives of this site about a month and a half ago while googling for information on the TJC for an ongoing research endeavour in nailing this Bahai political action committee for its ties to big oil and pro-Zionist lobby agendas fueling the war-party effort. Going through the posts on the boards here over the past couple of days, I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my own blogs as well as several of my USENET posts cited by Frank here. Thank you, Frank. I see the message is thankfully starting to get out there and to the right people, like yourself.

Although I posted a link to it myself yesterday, I was also happy to see Naama Pyritz' documentary Baha'is In My Backyard cited here months ago. Please note that I was briefly in touch with one of the producers of this documentary during the making process. It is a good start in appraising the general public of the sort of sinister cult-organization we are dealing with, but in my opinion the documentary does not go far enough. After this documentary aired, I contacted the said producer once again to encourage her to make a sequel, and the response was most revealing. She suggested that she had been intimidated into never venturing into any kind of investigative work on the Bahais ever again. Earlier she had admitted that there are governments who are protecting the Haifan Bahai organization from scrutiny.

For what it is worth, I am here to help you good people in your struggle against the Haifan Bahai organization and its PAC conduit the TJC. My reasons are multiple: one which is to expose the extent to which organizations tied to the Haifan Bahai organization - as well as the establishment of this organization itself - had a hand in the post-911 draconian legislative environment; the invasion and the subsequent debacle in Iraq, including the efforts in the past 3-4 years of getting the United States involved in a preemptive/regional
 war with Iran.

 I am also interested in exposing the involvement of various Haifan Bahai oriented agribusiness ventures in the Amazonia region of South America: ventures that have substantial funding from oil companies who in turn solicit private security firm/death squads recruited from retired military personnel, who in turn are responsible for the genocide and ethnic cleansing of native Amazonian tribes, on behalf of these ventures/vultures. Indeed these Haifan Bahais do have blood on their hands, and lots of it.

Believe me, folks, the rabbit hole goes pretty deep with these people. And despite their transparent pretensions of being "progressives", these people have an agenda inimical to everything the progressive agenda represents. It is as if big money has appropriated progressive agendas to 1) corrupt such agendas as a divide and destroy ploy against progressives in the West and elsewhere to thereby then 2) appropriate the progressive platform as a ploy to advance both its own corporate agendas tied to governmental intelligence black-flags around the world and similar.

Whatever Layli Miller says, she cannot deny the fact that the (murdered) British UN weapons inspector in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq, Dr David Kelly, was a Bahai. Nor can she credibly deny the fact that David Kelly's co-inspector was a Pentagon mole in the UN inspections regime and an intelligence officer in said department, viz. Mia Pederson Sadat. Nor can Layli Miller deny the fact that in late 2004/early 2005 the Iranian government expelled two Western Bahai missionaries out of Iran who were caught red-handed in activities that can be classified as nothing less than espionage. Nor can Layli Miller deny the fact that in the summer of 2006 the Indian security establishment in New Delhi foiled a massive spy ring in India, involving high ranking members of the Bahai administration there: espionage which involved the manufacture of fake passports and military identity cards, the procurement of classified Indian military intelligence information, which was then being sold for cash to the governments of Israel and Iran. And on and on it goes...

Now why am I here specifically? Besides here to support you all,
I am also curious, and I am sure other people are as well,  as to the reasons why the IMBRA legislation has been crafted the way it has. There are loop-holes and exemptions made in this law that reveal something else going on beneath the surface. I believe the big corporate dot.com players in this industry are ultimately responsible for initiating IMBRA. However they could not conceivably lobby for it themselves directly under existing anti-trust legislation and conflict of interest laws. Getting an outfit such as the TJC to actively lobby for this law is the modus operandi of choice because it is the classic way in which corporate lobbying occurs in the United States. I say this because if one searches deeply enough one will discover that apparently there are corporate donors to the TJC who have either interests or existing business relationships with one or several of the corporate players who have been exempted from the provisions of IMBRA. All of this is, of course, presently in the initial stages of being looked at and its details hammered out. If it is the case, then you are looking at corporate nepotism on a massive scale.

What can you do? What people can do is to form an ad hoc political lobby designed to expose this stuff. Watch your local and national lawmakers. In states where recalls are possible, organize - if even to threaten - politicians who engage or support such groups and endeavours. There are many other things which can be done.

Finally, let me also reveal the fact that I am an ex-bahai and I have also met Layli Miller in person, 2000 in Canberra (ACT) Australia. Let me also reveal the fact that the real Tahirih (i.e. Qurra'tul-'Ayn) of history - besides being aghast at what these corrupt fascists have done in her name over the decades - also happens to be my own maternal great-great-great grandmother  Wink

I look forward to our discussions.

In friendship and solidarity,

Truthseeker (aka Wahid Azal)

Hello Truthseeker,

More later, but I just wanted to drop a short note to welcome you here with us and to thank you for the research you have done.

Thank you also for the link to "Bahais In My Backyard." I searched youtube and google for it but had no luck. Glad you knew yahoo had it. I just watched it in its entirety a little while ago. VERY interesting. Nice to see where a lot of our tax dollars go via TJC.

Welcome Truthseeker and thanks for joining our continuing discussion.  You should know that Larry Miller father of Layli and permanent member of the TJC board of directors is a member of this website.  He started some posts here a few months ago and engaged in active discussions (see TJC and IMBRA forum).  Naturally, we did not find much common ground, and while he made it clear he was defending his daughter and the Bahai by coming here, some of us wonder whether he had other motives.  (I confirmed that it is really Larry Miller by emailing Layli who responded to me.)

You wrote:

I don't think that the anti-trust laws would apply to this situation and I am unaware of any conflict of interest laws that are relevant, either.  We have no evidence that the big companies were involved in this and it is my opinion that they are not.  Rather, the knee-jerk feminist groups found it convenient to attack international dating and marriage because there was no industry group, no lobby for lonely, middle-age men and we are easy to demonize...and the feminist groups must constantly find or invent new problems with males in order to maintain their existing funding and increase it if possible.

Universities all across the United States pump out graduates of womens' studies year after year, and all these angry women must find employment.  The director of NOW is hardly going to hold a press conference and announce that since in the last four decades women have achieved 95% of their goals therefore NOW will reduce its staff from 100 to 5, and that it will return $9.5M of its $10M in grants this year.  Instead she announces that the problem of men is worse than ever and they need more money and more laws to protect women.

Power corrupts.

Calling a foreign woman a mail order bride who met her husband via the internet, as do many American women, is insulting and racist.  Kneejerk feminists who use language to shape thoughts, e.g. "marriage broker" for "dating service", use this term to denigrate these women and the men who marry them.

We have no evidence that the big companies were involved in this and it is my opinion that they are not.

The following quote from one of Gary Bala’s articles might be helpful.  This is what he wrote:

“Why this law? The proponents, notably Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA), argued that this law would force full disclosure of a man's violent records, if any, and enable a foreign lady customer of IMB dating services, which they say may number up to 5000 with some charging hefty fees, to decide for herself if she wants to communicate with and marry that man.

Problem: What about the largest and most lucrative of the international matchmakers in cyberspace, namely the big Internet dating mega-sites? Well, they get a "free pass" on having to collect any information at all on their U.S. men customers, even if those men happen to be repeat felony abusers of their ex-"mail order bride spouses".

How? Because of a little-known exemption written into the law for a company if its "primary business" is NOT international dating but some other business, and if they offer the U.S. men and foreign women "comparable rates for comparable services".

Say what?

Lobbyists for certain large mega-sites, whose websites are actually but sub-divisions of larger companies with services ranging from telecommunications to mortgage loans, argued to the law's drafters that international dating was not their primary business. And they also apparently made the case (successfully) that the potential for abuse from a U.S. man over a foreign women was less if they charged a "comparable rate" to men and women alike, such as a flat monthly fee for customers to E-Mail each other, thus supposedly leveling the imbalance of power between the sexes.” [1]

It certainly appears from Gary Bala’s article that the big Internet dating sites had some input in the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005.

Perhaps the large dating services were not involved with drafting of imbra, although the feminists carved out an unfettered existence for them.  However, they sure are aware of the law and the relabeling of international matchmakers as marriage brokers.  And they sure want to distance themselves from that label and subjecting its members to the law.

Look at the front page of the match.com international site where this statement enables the foreign site to be a stand-alone business (to create the illusion that foreign women are not directly competing with American women on the main site) but not its own "primary" business:

http://www.match.com/matchus/international/index.aspx

"Please note: Use of Match.com international sites requires a separate membership on the International Match.com network."

Also-

Look at the terms of service for the Match.com United States:

http://www.match.com/registration/membagr.aspx

The word "broker" is not to be found.

Now look at the terms of service for Match.com International Philippines:

http://ph.match.com/Help/Terms.aspx

Note this statement only appears in foreign versions of Match.com:

"Scope of Service. The Service enables you to contact other members. Match.com is not a marriage brokering service and is not obligated to successfully broker any other members for you."

What a F - - - - ING racket.

And to show that, unlike American feminists, Match.com does not insult the intelligent judgement of (slim, beautiful, man-respecting) Filipinas, they include this statement:

"While liars, cheaters and imposters certainly ply their craft on the Web, you’ll also find them in nightclubs and offline dating services, cocktail parties or even sitting across from you at your local café. Regardless of where you meet someone, dating is never a risk-free activity, but a little caution will reduce your risk in matters of the heart."

Greetings truthseeker. Your insights are welcome and I think you will find our discussions interesting and hopefully we can work together to defeat this multi headed Baha'i monster. Lets dive in...

Quote
I came across the archives of this site about a month and a half ago while googling for information on the TJC for an ongoing research endeavour in nailing this Baha'i political action committee for its ties to big oil and pro-Zionist lobby agendas fueling the war-party effort.

You've mentioned Tahirih's money trail and various ties with Big oil and the middle east.  Tahirih has successfully forged relationships with an amazing array of prominent individuals many whose integrity ranges anywhere from sleazy to downright nefarious.

Sourcewatch has a list of key sponsors, directors, etc.
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Tahirih_Justice_Center

According to sourcewatch an individual named Clovis Maksoud was listed on the board of advisors. Mr. Maksoud (a left wing nut) was the ambassador for the Arab League to the United Nations. An article in MER monthly magazine paints a nefarious picture of Clovis:

http://www.middleeast.org/archives/1998_10_09.htm

"Largely a creature of another of those pathetically co-opted institutions, the Arab League, Clovis masquerades these days as an academic at American University, where he helps bring them money from the arms and oil bazaars of the Arab elite -- including that of international swindler Adnan Khashoggi"

As recently as 2006 Clovis maintained his position at American University and probably knows Jamin Raskin who teaches Constitutional law at American University and is also listed on the board of advisors for Tahirih. Currently Jamin performs a dual role as a Maryland State Senator. Too bad he wasn't smart enough to realize that IMBRA is unconstitutional and makes the act of sending a love letter a crime.

Then there is sleazy Jack Quinn who is Associate Chairman of Quinn Gillespie and Associates a well known lobbying firm. They have provided pro bono services to Tahirih and are also listed as a major "supporter" of Tahirih.
Mr. Quinn was the lawyer of Marc Rich a fugitive for more than 20 years who fled to Switzerland just before he was indicted in the United States for allegedly evading more than $48 million in taxes, committing fraud and participating in illegal oil deals with Iran.

http://archives.cnn.com/2001/LAW/02/08/pardon.probe.02/

According to the article above it appears that Quinn who was counsel to President Clinton in 1995-1997 made a backdoor deal with President Clinton to get a pardon for Marc Rich in 2001. One minute Marc Rich is on the ten most wanted list and then mysteriously he gets pardoned thanks to Jack Quinn.  It was Quinn who was "grilled" and had to testify 3 times in the Marc Rich pardon Grand Jury probe.

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,107796,00.html

Well I must close for now . We can continue exposing more juicy facts in the near future.

Truthseeker has stated the following:
Quote
Believe me, folks, the rabbit hole goes pretty deep with these people. And despite their transparent pretensions of being "progressives", these people have an agenda inimical to everything the progressive agenda represents.

...And these rabbit holes have pathways that lead to some very prominent and powerful people. But each one of these rabbit holes is interlinked with pathways that enjoin a whole host of well known politicans, law firms and even royalty.

 A close look at a list of their supporters include Queen Noor of Jordan and Luann Bennett (wife of Congressmen Jim Moran D-VA) listed on Tahirih's benefits committee.
http://tjc.neuron.com/?template=benefit_supporters

Congressmen Jim Moran and Luanne Bennett purchased a home in Northern Virginia whose previous owner was Najeeb Halaby, father of Queen Noor, who was the fourth wife of King Hussein of Jordan.
http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/article.asp?article=315340&paper=59&cat=228

The Moran home which was really worth approximately $15 million was appraised at $5.25 million. Congressmen Jim and his wife know how to exploit the system to their financial advantage.
http://www.jonathanmark.com/Blog/1100444897
(scroll 2/3 down to "Laura" Sunday Nov 14, 8:23 pm)

For those of you who are familiar with the Tahirih Justice Center you will notice this same recurring theme whereby Tahirih and their friends do favors for someone and in return their are re payed the favor. The average Joe taxpayer is getting screwed in the process.

 Here is a good example...In July 2007 Congressmen Moran secured a $1 M grant for the Tahirih Justice center to enforce an internet dating law the IMBRA law. This earmarked grant was secured several months after Frank Kendall (Board of Directors for Tahirih) gave a political contribution (some call this a bribe) to Congressmen Moran and he simply returned the favor by giving Tahirih MONEY. This doesn't include the fact that Moran secured the grant for a family member (his wife Luann). I can only imagine how Luann probably rolled over in bed one night and said to Congressmen Moran "honey can you get me and Tahirih a million dollars".

http://www.emediawire.com/releases/2007/10/emw559970.htm

Its all about money, power and influence folks. 10 years from now Layli Miller-Muro and her friends in those rabbit holes will probably be laughing to themselves at how they manipulated the media, politicans and public. So they live the life of luxury built on the backs of the American non Baha'i slave taxpayers.

I had never even seen the word Bahai, let alone know what it meant ( a psuedo-"religion" designed to gather free money to support its World domineering terrorist agendas) until IMBRA was sneaked into "law" by the LIES of Layli Miller-Muro and her "Bahai Faith Inspired" (meaning crooked and sleazy) Tahirih Justice Center. I think the Bahai "Faith" owes a lot to Layli for helping expose it for the fraud that it is (ESPECIALLY Layli) to the mainstream public.

The more I delved and did research into the Tahirih Justice Center and the Bahai "Faith" the more I realized there is MUCH more going on here than the simple taking of men's liberties and stopping non-Bahai foreign women from coming to the USA.

Layli (or should I say Larry Miller who I assume is the REAL mastermind behind this TJC con) is playing feminist groups like a fiddle to pursue the Bahai "Faith" agenda$.

Layli Miller-Muro screams hysterically to angry feminist groups "You don't like competition aka foreign women because deep down you know they are REAL women? You don't like American men being happy because being queer lesbians you hate them? Well I have a real treat for you "sisters", it is called IMBRA. Finally you can stop American men from even saying hi to those hated foreign women you could give a damn about. And the best part is that it is under the guise that you actually "care" about them by wanting to "protect" them. Besides killing two birds with one stone, your queer lesbian feminist groups will also be able to gather yet more free tax dollars or donations by setting up "shelters" or other schemes designed to protect YOU, er I mean "foreign women" ha ha. However since TJC is a FOR-PROFIT enterprise I do expect a healthy cut of your take (90 % is the usual tithe) which will go directly into (1) my personal overseas bank accounts and (2) to Iran or the UHJ (Universal House of Justice) to fund our Bahai takeover."

"Also you have the security of knowing that after the takeover, you will be allowed to clean my toilets, lick my feet clean as well as my childrens' (future Princesses) butts clean because I don't expect those diapers that commoner infidels use to be good enough for my future Bahai royalty."

The Tahirih Justice Center is such a scam it is incredible. Nothing but a front to funnel money (FREE money of course) into various schemes, the Bahai "Faith" agenda merely being one of them. (Isn't that right Larry?)

When it comes to "bailouts" and FREE money, Wall Street could learn a few pointers from Layli and Larry. Of course when the truth about all this finally becomes known, I would imagine Layli and Larry will be spending a lot of time behind bars as they deserve to unless they manage to sneak back to Iran where their tons of money has been funneled (or maybe to the UHJ?) Perhaps Osama Bin Laden will have a welcome home party for them. Let the liquor flow!

As to Truthseeker, I thank you again for all the posting on the internet you have done in the past (and hopefully more in the future) that I have discovered and enlightened me and hopefully others by my posting here my finds of yours on the web.

I know one thing for sure: IMBRA = Layli Miller-Muro = Larry Miller = Tahirih Justice Center = the Bahai "Faith" agenda = political corruption on a huge scale = vast amounts of money (especially tax dollars) being spread to various international terrorist organizations and corporate con artists = IMBRA.

IMBRA is but a scheme for (1) Layli to butter up to feminist groups and (2) to get tax dollars under the guise of "protecting" foreign women and enforcing IMBRA to funnel to the Bahai "Faith (while fattening Layli and Larry's personal bank accounts of course.)

Truthseeker, do not take what I have said about the Bahai "Faith" and its followers personally as I realize that this is a "religion" that has been hijacked from its original mission by a bunch of corrupt and crooked money hungry and power hungry zealots and that a lot of its followers probably have no idea what is really going on and how they are being used and abused by the Bahai elite for their own gain.

I will continue to criticize ALL of the Bahai "Faith" as I have previously but realize this does not mean you or any other previous members of the faith who saw the light and left it.

Your link to the "Bahais In My Backyard" was very much appreciated and I enjoyed watching it very much and encourage everybody to see it (much to Layli's dismay) before the Bahais manage to censor it as they do everything else they don't like which exposes them like the cockroaches they are.

I was surprised at how many of the Bahai characters in the film were NOT Iranian and more resembled Western businessmen. I wonder why? Even the majority of the "followers" in the movie were Westerners which appeared to have been brainwashed by the "faith", probably by its guise of being for peace. A gullible person and their former faith are soon parted by the false promises of Bahaism. I would also assume this is because the Israeli that made the movie probably didn't feel like making a trip to Iran to talk to Bahais there.

It has evolved from a psuedo-religion into a CULT which worships MONEY and POWER! No wonder it tries so much to control its followers' thoughts and actions which enables those at the top of the pyramid scheme to enjoy their position of power and privilege while they mock Buluaihualih by wiping their fat asses with his photos.
_______________________________

The Bahai Faith and Scientology. So similar and yet so different. Methods the same (brainwashing followers) and gathering as much money as possible yet the Scientologists do not seem to be as obsessed with power (although I could be wrong about this.) They just seem to be concerned with money and controlling (brainwashing) their followers and not taking away our freedoms like the Bahais.

I told this story before but will repeat it again. First of all remember that L. Ron Hubbard (the creator of Scientology) was a 3rd rate Science Fiction writer whose stuff mostly appeared in cheap "pulp" Science Fiction magazines in the late 40's and early 50's.

Quite a long time ago, when Scientology was first getting started, I was invited by the Religion Editor of a large metropolitan newspaper (long story) to go with her to a church (I assume to make Dianetics/Scientology appear more "religious") which was rented for the night by L. Ron Hubbard to give a speech on Dianetics (later known as Scientology which I assume sounded better). There were probably 20 people in the church (it was at night) and L. Ron Hubbard wearing coke-bottle glasses gave his speech from the pulpit which I admit was interesting as a Sci-Fi fan (although not convincing to me of course) about us humans being from another planet from long ago and how we lost all our past memories of our interplanetary History by all the crap society has imposed on us over the ages (You know, typical 1950's Science Fiction pulp magazine stuff.) The ridiculously expensive Dianetics courses were supposed to shed off these "hypnotizing" layers of ignorance and after enough money you reached a certain LEVEL of "awareness" called "stages" (Stage 1, Stage 2, etc.) until after you had spent tens of thousands of dollars you reached a state in which you became CLEAR. (Later talking to a young kid with glazed eyes who apparently reached this state, I came to the conclusion that "clear" was the same thing as being brainwashed. He didn't seem quite right to me.)

After Ron gave his spiel his "right hand man" (I'm not really quite sure what his title was) came up and gave an even more convincing and interesting "hard sell" speech.

After all was done and the people had gone, the religious editor and I were in the "lobby"(?) of the church where she proceeded to interview L. Ron Hubbard and the other guy while I watched and listened. This was the really interesting part of the whole evening as they both proceeded to go even further and more convincingly for at least an hour talking about Dianetics (aka Sci..) Just the 4 of us standing together talking.

As a sidebar, the first time I ever met this Religion Editor, when I walked into her house she said "I know you from a previous life!" "Frankly" I don't remember anything from any previous lives I may have had so this took me aback a little but she was still a nice and interesting person to know.

Of course as we all know Scientology is now big business and although they are about as "religious" as the Tahirih Justice Center they still both enjoy the same taxfree status. Scientology, unlike the Bahais, does not seem obsessed with World Domination or taking away freedoms.

In the 1970's, I put an ad in a paper to sell a Science Fiction pulp magazine from the early 1950's which featured a story by L. Ron Hubbard and predictably a Scientologist called and wanted to buy it. He came over and I could tell he was mentally drooling over it. I told him about when I met L. Ron Hubbard in the past and of course he didn't believe me and said something like "NOBODY'S ever seen RON!" as if Ron was some sort of mythical God-like figure that only the gods and Scientology elite ever glimpsed.

"Okay. If you say so." as I took his money and he left. Now keep in mind this was all  AFTER I had studied brainwashing analysis and technique so naturally I kind of felt sorry for the guy but hey if you want to be brainwashed it is your business not mine. Just don't try to take away any of MY rights or freedoms please. (or tax dollars either.)

Odd how the information about TJC in Bugman's link doesn't include the years 2004, 2005 and 2006. Hmmm. What are they hiding and from who I wonder? (besides the IRS and FBI.)

Now as to some of the companies Daddy Larry Miller has been associated with in the past:

http://lmmiller.com/clients.php

"Some of the clients we have had the privilege to serve include the following…"

    * Air Canada
    * AIESEC International
    * Allina Health Care
    * Amoco Oil
    * American Express
    * Honeywell
    * Compass
    * Alabama Power Company
    * Bell Canada
    * Chick-fil-A
    * Clark Schwebel
    * Coca-Cola, USA
    * Corning
    * Delmarva Power & Light
    * Dial Corporation
    * Eastman Kodak
    * Exxon, USA
    * Harris Corporation
    * Honda America Manufacturing
    * Landmark Communications
    * McDonald’s Corporation
    * Merck
    * Met Life
    * Murray Ohio Manufacturing
    * NationsBank
    * Plymouth Tube
    * Printpack
    * QuickTrip
    * Sara Lee Corporation
    * Shell Oil Company
    * Scott Paper Company
    * Southwestern Bell
    * Springs Industries
    * Star Tribune
    * Tarmac America
    * Texaco
    * Upjohn Company
    * Varig Airline

I wonder how involved these companies are with the Bahai Faith or Layli?

And Daddy's bio?

http://lmmiller.com/biography.php

"For the past thirty years Lawrence M. Miller has worked to improve the performance of organizations and the skills of their leaders. He began in our prisons. For four years he worked to redesign the prison system by establishing the first free-economy behind prison walls, where each inmate had to pay rent, maintain a checking account, and pay for everything he desired." (I wonder what they do if the prisoner won't pay? Throw him in prison? Ha ha)

Sounds like a great guy. He "began" in our prisons. Hopefully he and Layli will "end" in our prisons also. I'll bet he will bitch up a storm if the taxpayers don't pay HIS "rent and everything he desires" while he is behind bars however.

And Layli? She will just be screaming hysterically as usual.

Hi everyone,

I've got a terrible connection to the internet hooked up to a stone-age laptop at the moment. I typed this huge message with links (without saving) and all of a sudden the computer froze with the message flying into the ethers of permanent oblivion.

Anyway thanks everybody for the warm welcome.

Another name people should be looking at is that of Maurice Strong. This is a man of many colors and seasons, an old-dog professional UN bureaucrat who has not set foot in the US eversince he got implicated as an "Iraq oil for food" profiteer. This was the UN program during the '90s sanctions regime against Saddam that was designed to help average Iraqis with bare necessities which turned into a massive international scam-fest. Nowadays Strong is hiding out in the PRC. He's got long, well-established connections to the Rockefeller foundation and few other assorted big-whigs of the moving and shaking who's who of the global gliteratti elite. Although the online Bahai hacks deny it (or misdirect regarding his affliliation), Maurice Strong is a devout Bahai.

What I was saying (or pontificating about) in the longer message was regarding the fact that lobby-feminism these days is less about ideology and more about big business. There is big money involved in what these people are up to, not to mention the intersection of a variety of interests and agendas that have less to do with feminism and more to do with other (usually far more nebulous) things. The feminist veneer is just that and a convenient ploy, or tool, to attain such ends.

As for the Bahais: the organization in question here is the Haifan Bahai organization. This is the bigger, majoritarian cult. The one with the money. There are several other (smaller) Bahai groups (i.e. schisms), one of whom - i.e. the Orthodox Bahais - are presently engaged in a law-suit with the Haifan cult on propriety issues over the use of the name Bahai. The Haifan Bahais - the organization Layli and her dad belong to - early last year sued the Orthodox Bahai organization based out of New Mexico for copyright infringement of the name 'Bahai' as well as attempting to get the court to impose a judgement on an organization existing in the 1960s which the present Orthodox Bahais came out of (but which -- i.e. the older organization -- no longer exists). The sheer inanity of this act is analogous to the Catholic Church suing every church on the planet for use of the name Christian. Anyway, to make a long story short, the Haifan Bahais lost their initial case at the hands of a good Illinois judge late last year. Now they have appealed the Illinois decision - which should be coming up any day now (I will keep you all posted).

Frank, I am no longer a Bahai, haven't been officially since 1996, and because I have waged a relentless online crusade against this NWO cult over the past ten years, I am considered enemy number one by these cultists. Not only am I taking no offense at anything you say. It is a breath of pure fresh air to see people clueing in to what is going on. My hat goes off to you. You are a man of conscience Wink

As far at it being hijacked: It depends on what entity we are talking about. I've spent pretty much the past decade and a bit doing quite a bit of critical historical digging on Bahaism and its antecedent. Basically the story is this.

In 1844 a pious 24 year old Iranian in Shiraz by the name of Siyyid 'Ali Muhammad Shirazi declared himself to be the long awaited Shi'ite Islamic messiah, or the Twelfth Imam. He is known to history as the Bab ('gate'). His declaration and the Babi movement it spawned created a veritable religious revolution in Iran which nearly succeeded in toppling the throne as well as overthrowing the religious clerics. My ancestor (who never actually met the Bab personally), and dubbed Tahirih (the Pure), was one of the foremost leaders of the Babi movement. However it still remains to be established whether Tahirih was actually a modern-style feminist. She was certainly a religious radical and a deep mystic, but hardly what one would classify today as a feminist. Other than her Babi connection, she is presently considered to be one of the last great classical mystical poets of Iran.

After a series of Babi revolts (starting in the summer of 1848), the state and clergy came down mercilessly on the Babis. There are estimates that something on the order of 20,000 Babi revolutionaries were put to death by the combined state-clergy clamp down. The Bab himself was publicly executed by firing squad on July 8th 1850 in the city of Tabriz. Tahirih was strangled to death on the orders of the Shah, and her body dumped inside a well, in the summer of 1852 in Tehran. Most of the rest of the initial leadership of the Babi movement also lost their lives during this period.

But before his execution in July 1850, the Bab had actually nominated in writing a successor (I have translated the document of this will and testament of the Bab). He had nominated a 19 year old son of a former court notable: i.e. Mirza Yahya Nuri Subh-i-Azal (the Dawn of Pre-Eternity) (d. 1912). This Subh-i-Azal was to be the Bab's first Supreme Pontiff of the Babi (or, more correctly, Bayani) religion. The majority of the Babis recognized this nomination - including Subh-i-Azal's older brother, i.e. the future Bahai founder Baha'u'llah (d. 1892).

In the his writings, however, the Bab had projected a doctrine of infinite progressive theophanies of the Godhead appearing in the world, i.e. that there would endless future prophets and holy (wo)men. In his doctrine the next major divine revelation after the Bab was designated as that of "He whom the Godhead shall make Manifest." According to the Bab in his major doctrinal work, i.e. the Persian Bayan (i.e. the Babi book of laws), this figure was to appear between 1511 years or at the latest 2001 years after the revelation of the Bab himself.

Now shortly after a a botched assassination attempt on the life of the then Shah of Iran by the Babis in 1852, Subh-i-Azal and his family fled to Baghdad which for the next fourteen years became the veritable headquarters of the Babi movement in exile. During this time there were several dozen contenders who arose in quick succession on flimsy bases proclaiming themselves to be this abovementioned Babi messianic figure. The last of these figures was none other than Subh-i-Azal's own older brother, i.e. Mirza Husayn 'Ali Nuri Baha'u'llah.

Where all the other contenders had failed, this Baha'u'llah succeeded, mainly due to financial resources and a cabal of thugs he had surrounded himself with. He succeeded in silencing all of Subh-i-Azal's remaining partisans, and all critics to himself, having several dozens of them murdered on his orders. In effect he packed Subh-i-Azal into exile in Cyprus, himself to Palestine, took the reins of what was left of the tattered Babi organizational infrastructure and created the Bahai faith out of it.

There is a body of evidence proving that Baha'u'llah was aided in his internal coup d'etat and the creation of Bahaism by European colonialist powers. The allegation in Iran for years has been that Bahaism is the bastard child of 19th century British and Russian imperialists. I believe there is substance to this allegation.

Anyway, I'll leave the history lesson here for now. But that should give some scope as to where I am coming from regarding the bigger questions.
