The hypocracy of WA State Legislator Jeanne Kohl-Wells

Jeanne Kohl-Wells was one of the sponsors of Washington State's IMBRA law.  She has testified against Encounters when it was railroaded in court in order to secure a judgment in favor of Natalia Fox who came to the US on a fiance visa and then married a different man, a complete violation of immigration law.  (Tahirih helped her with her lawsuit and immigration troubles.)

Kohl's Washington law attempts to outlaw communication between American men and foreign women.  But here is her position on marijuana just sent out in a newsletter:

Issues of social justice

While this session will, no doubt, be consumed by finding a solution for our historic budget shortfall, there are important social justice matters that I will continue to pursue. First and foremost, I will continue to advocate for reforming our marijuana laws. ... I believe that in this time of fiscal crisis, these funds should be directed towards more productive uses than jailing non-violent offenders.

So in the case of pot, Kohl is progressive.  But in the case of men, Kohl is a horrible sexist and she thinks we should all go to Hell.

NONE of this has to do with principles. Larry Miller did not raise his daughter with principles either. Oh sure, she pukes Bahai principles all over her website while proudly violating them. Stakeholder inclusion much? Yeah, you go girl. It is NOT possible to justify passing and subsequently defending these laws while maintaining principles. Its not about principles; it is absolutely about getting your way at any cost including exposing yourself as a bankrupt shell devoid of morality.
