A 40 year old woman pretended to be 18. She duped two men from the same workplace to fall for her. One man found out about the other and killed him in a jealous rage.
Oh, there are more angles to the story, such as the fact that one of the men was 47 and he, too, pretended to be younger, like 18 and a soldier.http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/01/22/AR2007012200070.html
But here's the point. Anyone can fake it on the internet. And our Congress decided when it passed IMBRA that an American man must give reams of highly personal information to someone on the other end of a modem in a foreign country WITHOUT KNOWING WHO THAT PERSON IS.
This is absurd and will only invite more fraud, scams and identity theft of American citizens. Congress has facilitated foreigners who wish to steal from Americans for no reason! Even if you buy into the radical feminist lies that international relationships have higher abuse rates and the foreign women must be protected with information, why on earth should the women be given information before the man can write to them. And how do we even know they are women?
